Developer Information

For communities that are under construction, CAMCO has a separate Developers Division that concentrates on Builder issues and concerns. The Division becomes involved in new associations beginning with the built-out budget, then assists Developers with drafting of the governing documents, filing with the Secretary of State’s office, and applying for the Association Tax I.D. number.

The Division sees the association through to the 75% transition meeting where, at that time, administration of the association will be transferred to a Portfolio management team. The Portfolio manager works hand-in-hand with the Developer Division manager during this process to ensure a seamless transition.

As homes are sold, and the project nears completion, some areas of development, such as architectural changes or entry control for gated communities, may need special attention.  To further assist the Association, our Management team provides assistance in the review/approval of architectural requests and gate entry control, thereby alleviating time the Developer/Board of Directors would normally have to spend on administrative and development issues.  The Manager also personally inspects the property and, while doing so, will initiate and develop a relationship with the on-site Sales and Construction Staff. Through experience, we realize that with one central point of contact the Manager can be versed on all aspects of a project and the Developer, Sales or Construction Staff need only contact one person whenever an issue arises. 

CAMCO is an active member of the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association, which allows us to stay abreast of the most up-to-date information available in the home building industry.  CAMCO is also a member of the National Association of Home Builders, the Chamber of Commerce, and Community Association Institute, and is an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau. The company is a charter member of the Community Association Management Executive Officers, Inc., and Nevada Association of Community Managers.
